As a solo traveler from Dublin, I appreciate a space that feels personal, and this boutique hotel, with its intimate 50-room setting, truly delivers. The location is a notable asset-you can step into the lively Market Square with ease, yet retreat to the peaceful ambiance of the hotel at your leisure. The cleanliness is commendable, revealing a dedication to housekeeping that truly enhances the stay. The thoughtfully curated toiletries and tea facilities in the room add a homely touch. What pleasantly stood out was the breakfast, with an array of hot dishes made to order and a beautifully arranged cold buffet-definitely a treat worth waking up for. The staff's courteous nature further contributes to a sense of warmth, as they provided excellent service and even arranged taxis seamlessly. All in all, while it isn't the cheapest option, the Garamond strikes a sound balance between luxury and value that could elevate your travel experience.
